You can take your sports equipment as part of your baggage allowance.
If you exceed your baggage allowance in weight or number of pieces, your excess baggage will be accepted on your flight on a space-available basis and will be subject to payment of the applicable fee. To know your excess baggage amount, go there.
Surfboards, kitesurfing boards, bodyboards, etc., are accepted under condition : not exceed 1.80 m (70 in) in length and subject to available space on the flight.
Boards measuring 1.80 m to 2 m (70 to 78 in) must be checked in as cargo. They will be accepted unpon availabily in the hold.
Because our aircraft's hold size is limited, boards exceeding 2 m (78 in) cannot be accepted on Air Tahiti flights.
In most cases, your sports equipment will be "allowed with limited responsibility".
If one of your sports equipment exceeds the standard size or weighs is over 25 kg (55 lb), we invite you to contact Air Tahiti Cargo Service.
