Pay in 3 or 4 installments

Only Visa and MasterCard issued by traditional banks in Metropolitan France or the French overseas territories (DOM-TOM) are accepted.

Local payment cards, Visa Electron, Mastercard Maestro, American Express, and cards issued by neobanks* are not accepted.

*Neobanks are fully online banks, operating mainly through a mobile app or website (examples include N26, Revolut, Lydia, Nickel, or Deblock – non-exhaustive list).

This payment option is only available on the Air Tahiti website.

This payment option is only available at the time of the initial booking on the Air Tahiti website, up to 3 days before departure.
If you choose to make your reservation and pay later, this option will not be available through the "Manage My Booking" section.

"FLOA" will appear as the payment recipient on your bank statement instead of "Air Tahiti".

Yes, you can travel even if you have not completed all your installments.

Payments will be scheduled in 3 or 4 installments, depending on your choice. Installments will be charged every 30 days, with the first payment due on the day you purchase your ticket.

​​​​​​You can request a refund via the Air Tahiti website, at one of our sales points, by phone, or via email at reservation@airtahiti.pf.

Please allow approximately 5 business days to process your refund request.

Total purchase cancellation :

In the case of cancellation of the entire purchase, Air Tahiti will apply a refund fee. FLOA will then refund the remaining balance as well as the fees associated with the use of this payment option to the credit card used, and will cancel future installments.

Example 1 :

​​​​​​​A passenger buys a round-trip ticket for 40 000 F, opting to pay in 4 monthly instalments of 10 000 F, and pays 5 000 F in fees related to the use of this payment option :

• He has already paid two instalments of 10 000 F each, i.e. 20 000 F in total.
• There are still two instalments to come, i.e. 20 000 F to be paid in the following months.

In total, he has already been debited 25 000F (5 000F in fees and two instalments of 10 000 F already paid).

Finally, the passenger decides to cancel his purchase and requests a refund, which, after deduction of Air Tahiti's fees, amounts to 36 000F :

• The two remaining instalments of 10,000F each will be cancelled, so the passenger will not have to pay these amounts.

FLOA will refund the remaining 16000F and the 5000F service charge on the credit card used.
Partial purchase cancellation :

In the event of partial cancellation of the purchase, Air Tahiti will apply a refund fee. FLOA will then reimburse the remaining balance and cancel all future payments. Any fees associated with the use of this payment facility will not be refunded.

Example 2:

A passenger buys a round-trip ticket for a total cost of 80 000 F divided into 4 monthly instalments of 20 000 F and pays 8 000 F in fees for using this payment option :

• He has already paid three installments of 20 000 F each, for a total of 60 000 F.
• One instalment of 20 000 F remains to be paid.

In total, therefore, he has been debited 68000F (8 000 F in charges and three instalments of 20 000 F).

In the end, the passenger decided to cancel only the return flight on his round-trip ticket, which, after deduction of Air Tahiti's fees, amounted to 36 000 F:

• The remaining 20 000 F will be cancelled.
• FLOA will refund 16 000 F to the credit card used for the purchase.
• The 8 000 F fee for using the payment facility will not be refunded, as this fee is non-refundable in the event of partial cancellation.

Fees are expressed as a percentage and are charged directly by the financial service provider.
