Air Tahiti signs for a new ATR 72-600

Air Tahiti will soon be welcoming a new aircraft to its fleet.

Air Tahiti and aircraft manufacturer ATR are pleased to announce the signing of a purchase contract for a new ATR 72-600, this Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Singapore Air Show.

A loyal partner of ATR for 38 years, Air Tahiti is adding an additional ATR to its fleet currently composed of 2 ATR 42-600s and 9 ATR 72-600s (including 1 on lease until March 2025). Delivery of this new aircraft is scheduled for the end of 2024.

This attests to Air Tahiti's renewed confidence in this type of regional transport aircraft, with low emissions, and particularly suited to the Polynesian network.

Air Tahiti is thus continuing its strategy to regular renewal of its fleet, as evidenced by the arrival of ATANUA, the rainbow of the Marquesas in June 2023, in order to constantly offer the best service and the greatest security to its passengers.
