A strong Polynesian identity
- The Air Tahiti legend
Air Tahiti story is more than a story, it's a legend... The airline is following the path of the polynesian legendary heroes, the demigods Maui, Hiro, Tafai, Ru and Hina: endowed with magic hooks, they caught fish at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, which turned into islands once they reached the surface. This is why, for over 65 years, the company has been proudly wearing the hooks that have helped connect islands and people across the archipelagos, as well as our visitors. Deeply embedded in Polynesian culture, Air Tahiti is committed to promoting and preserving Polynesian culture and heritage in all its diversity.

A graphic identity embedded in traditional culture
In addition to its hook-shaped logo, Air Tahiti is proud to present ancient motifs representing the link between the islands, created by students and teachers from the CMA (Center of Fine Arts). The flight crew also designed mother-of-pearl wings bearing these ancestral motifs.
Tatau Liveries
Air Tahiti is proud to be the first airline in the world to have tattooed its aircraft, both inside and out.
